Vantage Point Volume Four gives a short but complete overview of the German Coast Uprising – North America’s largest revolt against slavery in the south. A revolution that was successfully written out of American history. In 2011 – 200 years after the revolt took place in Louisiana, near New Orleans – Daniel Rasmussen published the first detailed accord in his book, which served as the primary source for my paper. This is the first volume in the series featuring historical events of the past.
